Default Polaris Lubricant Question

I have a 2002 Sportsman 500 HO. The manual says use a GL5 80-90 wt gear oil for the front gear case. Is this the same lubricant as the Polaris Synthetic "Pure Polaris AGL ATV Gearcase Lubricant" Can you use this AGL ATV Gearcase lube in the front gearcase???? Help

No. The "Pure Polaris AGL ATV Gearcase Lubricant" is for your transmission. You need a GL5 80-90 wt gear oil for the front gear case. You can get this at any auto parts store. I like to use something made for posi traction differntials.
