Just bought a 03 Scrambler 500 HO 4x4 for the wife and cant stand the factory exhaust. What is the best exhaust system for this model? I am new th the Polaris scene, i usually only mess with banshee's so I am really unsure of which is best for this bike. Any help would be great! Thanks

 

The HPD Powermaxx exhaust is by far the best exhaust out there for the 500 scram. HSP also has an exhaust system. However, the HPD is less expensive, looks better with the nickel plating, is built better (a lot of people have had their HSP mufflers come apart) and performs better. The HPD exhaust also comes with a new main jet. I would reccommend getting an HPD aggressive clutch kit and a K&N with outwears for the best performance. The K&N is a lot cheaper at Rocky MT ATV Give Rick at RCR a call and he will hook you up. He sells HPD products, as well as his own products. Shipping is also dirt cheap with him. $9 for the complete exhaust and clutch kit that I ordered through him.
