Default polaris aware of some popping issues

My dealer mechanic told me that Polaris is aware of the popping issue and is working on a new needle to solve the problem. Anyone else here similar info?

Thats good to hear. I am glad that Polaris is stepping up to that plate to solve these problems for their customers. That's more than the Yamaha guys with the 01 rappy's can say

I'm not sure what their plans are once they fix the problem. I imagine the next model year will definately be fixed. Hopefully they'll issue some sort of a recall or upgrade. Would definately help them in the reliability and customer service department.

Note, I don't have the popping issue anymore. The extensive mods I had to do to the carb and the carb slide probably have something to do with it.

P.S. a new needle should be cheaper then the air force kit though

it is a simple dialed-in carburation problems,my higly scrammy was doing that with 42mm carb,a different set of slides and needles make the whole
thing work better,or it is probably the the low rredline rev limiter, polaris should raise it next year whrn the engine has been proven
itself.

Sand-son, are you new or something, we've been addressing this for oh, let's see 4 or 5 months now. Go buy some tranny gears. My apologies to other rappy owners. Those w/o their heads stuck in the sand....or somewhere else for that matter. Duh!
