noise when it is started

when my friend starts his 250trailblazer it makes a noiselike the pull start is holding up could someone tell me what it is

noise when it is started

It depends on where exactly the noise is coming from. It could be the starter sticking, the clutches rubbing the clutch cover or the tranny fluid is dirty or low and causing the noise.

How old is your TB? I have a 99TB that I just replaced the crank bearings on.
It made a noise like what you describe.
