I'm trying to remove the drive clutch and I'm having problems. I've removed the retaining bolt. I'm using a loaclly made drive clutch puller which threads into the clutch body and pushes againts the engine out put shaft. It looks as if the clutch has moved a 1/2 inch but is bound up. It looks pretty straing forward and it should just come off. AM I missing something here?

 

can you post a pic of your homemade puller? Try driving the pulley back on and try it again.

 

Try tapping on the end of the puller with a hammer.If it moved a 1/2 an inch it should come off.
