Goodbye Predator
I've reached then end of my rope. It's out of here - actually it's in my buddies front yard for sale. All you guys that are whipping all the jap quads must have bought a differant machine then I did. I can barely beat my friends 400ex. My dealer is clueless and i'm feed up. I'll probably keep my scrambler for now but I guess I'm gonna go jap.

Goodbye Predator
I just rode a predator for the first time at the dealership today and it flat out sucked, there is absolutely no torque whatsoever. I have more torque in 5th gear on my rapto than the predator does in 1st gear. And the dealer talked it up like it was the one and only fastest quad out there!! Gimme a break, I would rather buy a PW 50, atleast I could get it to wheelie!! Sell it, and hopefully someone buys it, just don't tell them how big of a piece of junk that it is!!

Be kind Nug! There is a displacement difference, and many will agree that the pred is geared really tall just so the stock top speed numbers look competitive. Gear that puppy down and tap into that hidden hp, combine it with the sweet handling characteristics, and it will give any machine a run for all that's invested in it in a MX or XC race. Now Drag Racing...a little motor work can make a difference to any machine!!

Goodbye Predator
The only reason I got the 727 is because I hill climb all the time and have one several competitions at Lil' Sahara Utah with it, everyone goes big and wants to be the fastest, I love my raptor and would not trade it for any quad out there, you like yours' I like mine, it is a matter of opinion!! I am in to climbing Dunes and to be the best you have to have the best... Later!!

Man, I beleive you just got a reject from the factory or haven't broke it in at all. I mean if the 400ex is stock you should really eat him up. No matter what anyone on here says the predators ain't slow by no means. I've beat a predator in a drag before on my z400 but the kind was only 16 and wasn't very good. I let him race my z and I rode his pred. and I beat him by like 10 quads. I hope an experienced ride wouldn't beat my z400 that bad but I'm pretty sure they'd beat me as I'm fully stock also. Maybe if you want to keep it go see what the problem is if not good luck with the sale. If I had the money I'd take it off your hands.
