$3000 shootout in mays issue of dirtwheels
#2
the blazer beat out the blaster and the bayou. The shoot out basically came down between the blazer and blaster. The blazer had best top end but the blaster took the hole shots. I've ridden both and currently have (my wife has, to be correct) a 'OO blazer. I'm considering getting rid of my 300 xplr at summer's end and replace it with a blaster. Our riding locations have been changed on us and I feel that the manual clutch, with which I am comfortable will prove more exciting than the blazer. Correct me if I am wrong guys.Yes where I ride offers few chances of top end runs. I'm looking at the low end #'s w/o mods. Keeping it financially minimal. sorry for ramblin'

It was a good shootout. They also compared the Kawasaki 220. I don't know why, it is a totaly different class atv from the other 2. They had a hard time deciding the winner. The Blazer did edge out the Blaster though. I would say that if you want to race, go with the lighter, manual Blaster. For most other things the Blazer would be fine.

I was surprised at the outcome but happy at the same time. Love my Blazer wouldnt know what to do with out it. Glad it finally got a little praise for a change instead of being called a womens or childrens quad I really hate that!!!

I'm also quite suprised the Trailblazer won it.
Normally all they do is bash it. I've yet to see why, i loved mine, other than a few minor problems.
Overall value is definetly the Trailblazer.
Do everything, is the blaster!

Not do everything. Blasters do not do reverse. Do you ever miss reverse now that you ride the Blaster?

I seen both bikes, the Blaster may only be a 200cc but thats plenty for a bike as light as it is but it would be to small for me at 6' 185lbs.The Blazer felt nice to sit on and I liked the floor boards and tall suspension would be nice to be on all day long ride.
