scramblered i have an aaen top end pipe , silencer and clutch kit for it , i have had it on and the bike is quite a bit faster , but also quite a bit louder , i think it is because the pipe is thin , i might try wrapping it with exhaust wrap or some kind of insulation to see if that helps

trenchdigger, He has tryed so many variations including snowmobile weights and springs that I would be surprised if if could remember. When I head back up to visit him in Vermont next week I will be sure to ask. Like yourself, I have read that many people just went with the white spring.

My opinion on this is... give Olav Aaen a call, since you have his pipe he will help you with your clutching, he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with clutching. Just tell him what all you have and what application you will be using it for (pulling) and I am shure he would send you the correct route.
