Has anyone tried out the Duro HF245 rear- hoosier flattrack copy? I'm thinking of switching from my American Racer T-23 18.5x8.0x10'x for the Duro's 20x11x10 for flat track TT racing. I'm looking at them to try to improve forward bit - with the AR's i can't go below 7 lbs on the right rear for fear of the rim digging into the curves- my bike is heavy. Alot of time with just 7 lbs in the rear tires, i spin going down the straight- put stock spring back in the secondary - not spinning tires as bad and am actually going faster. if anyone has used these tires for racing give me note.
thanks

haven't tried them but an older friend that used to race 250R's in the 80's and won told me they used to run tires like that even on an MX track. Might be worth a shot to have a set of Duro's and a set of Razr's depending on the track. Loose dirt gets the Razrs, any hardpack Duro's.

Due to some family issues i have only went to two races so far this year so i have not got the Duro's yet. If i think i can get to more races this last half of the season i probably will. My little boy is dieing to get my AR's on his pred 90. if i do get them i will post a review.
