Default HPD Race pipe/Ignition timing

What is the proper way to set the timing on a 400 scrammy?At what degree(s) do you set it at?Soon to have back all my parts from HPD/Rick Ritter.I have read on the forum about this before with this HPD race pipe. Thanks in advance.

It needs to be retarded 2 degrees,or counter clockwise1/8 of an inch.

Default HPD Race pipe/Ignition timing

Along with the spec CED gave, be sure to note, the timing is set/checked with the engine at 3,000 rpm. If you're gonna get your flywheel shaved, best to change/check timing first. If you don't, the most accurate way to re-index it is with a small diameter degree wheel.
