Default 250 TB Won't Stay In Gear

I have a 95 250 Trail Blazer That kicks out of gear when I try to engage it. It also makes a funny clicling sound on the tranmission. Help needed.

Either your idle is too high, your shift linkage needs adjustment, or your gear dogs inside the tranny are broken and need replacing.

Sounds like a tranny issue. Usually a fork...which leads to a worn gear, or a chain. Parts aren't bad, about $160, but labor can get up there as it may take 1.5-2 hrs. getting the tranny out, and the same putting it back!
