Default three wheel drive

my right front wheel quit pulling on my 2000 sp500 ho. how do you check the mag? shortly after i bought it new. the bearings went out in the right front. factory didnt put a cotter key in the lock nut. nut tightened up, got hot, burned the seals, lost the oil. dealer made it good but dont think they checked everything while apart. anyway is there an easy way to check the mag. thanks

One of the more common 4WD failures is broken wires going to the hub coil.

A friend of mine had this happen on a scrambler. Check the funny looking washer that sits next to the mag. His was barely bent, I mean you could hardly tell but it was enough to make only one front spin.

Do a search on hubs, I've seen a few good posts recently on this subject.

03P360, that funny washer you mentioned is the armature plate and you are absolutely correct, the tolerance is 0.0015". The positioning of the plate is critical to the operation of the AWD system.

Local Mech once showed me how the AW Drive worked and he just turned the ignition on put in gear and engaged the AWD the funny washer stuck to the roller cage.Don't know if this is what you were looking for but if it helps, great.
