Ok get this!!!! I ordered Holeshot tires on Douglas .190 rims. 23X7X10 XCT for the front and 22X11X10 XCT. Well after a three week wait, they ship me 21X7X10 regular and also 20X11X10 (regular) and billed me for the XCT models. I called them and tried to see what they could do since I was awaiting these tires for a race this weekend and they said the only thing they could do is send them ground freight, not air, and it would take another 5 -- 7 days to get here. (Meaning that I would miss my race altogether) I talked with the manager and he was a real a$$hole, he wouldnt even take the time to understand what happened he was just calculating how much he would have to spend to get me the other tires. ** Here is the real kicker, I would have to ship the tires back that I have now, billed to my credit card AGAIN, and then they would send the other tires out and I would have to pay to ship those also. STAY AWAY FROM THESES IDIOTS!!!! THEY DO NOT TREAT CUSTOMER'S WELL, and for their damn mistakes you the consumer has to pay for it.
MY LOSSES:
1. Loss of time
2. Loss of patience
3. Loss of a race this weekend
4. GOT SCREWED and had to double pay for it!!!!

THEIR LOSSES:
1. NOTHING CUSTOMER PAYS FOR ALL AND THEY DONT CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me know your thoughts on this, and let me know if you have ever had any experiences with CRAP like this!!!

I have heard this before. I wrote to them and let them knoew that the word is out about them.

Talon, sorry to hear about your bad run in with Rocky Mountain. I ordered from them Rims and tires and got what I ordered. Not saying the didn't do you wrong just saying they did ok for me. Maybe try going over the managers head and try to contact the owner. Keep all your receipts and copy them to show what has happened, so that the manager can not try to lie about anything. Don't know about where you live, but here we have a guy who works for the news station called the trouble shooter. He helps people who have been ripped off by exsposing the crooks. Good luck!

since you paid with credit card get ahold of them and protest charge ,you have some leverage.If they agree with you they'll take it off.CM

Thanks for the warning! I ordered from Chaparal Racing and they were the best priced and the service was good. I would buy tires again from Chaparral Racing.

I've used Rocky Mountain quite a bit and haven't had any problems as severe as yours. I had a long backorder on a K&N Filter for my Honda 300 4X4, but that wasn't their fault. I've bought a lot of stuff - helmets and gloves for my wife and I, pipes, jet kits, air filters, handlebars & grips, small parts, etc... I think (hope?) that your problem was an isolated one.
I would speak with the GENERAL MANAGER if sales manager was a sh**head, and CALMLY explain the problem and discuss remedies to the situation.
If that fails, take a PIPE WRENCH to his knee caps....... I get good results and it always puts a smile on my face..... LOL

Last year i was checking on tires and rims for my 99sp 500 and talked with them also i found out that they are a bunch of rude people and the owner is about the same pretty much a jerk needles to say the did not get my buisnees.

I would first ask to talk to the general manager. There is no way in hell you should pay the shipping for the screw ups. If he is as big of an _sshole as the sales manager, then I would contact the Better Business Bureau. They make a living dealing with people like this and can give you some good legal advice and may be able to pressure them into make this right with you .

Here is the best part of it!!!! This is a quote right off of their website, BUT THEY DO NOT FOLLOW IT!!!!!!!!

One month ago, my roommate and I ordered the same tire combo on the same day(Holeshot XC's on Douglas .190)from Rocky Mountain ATV, and I recieved my tires in about 5 days, and he still has not gotten his.
Last week, I ordered some small stuff for my race this weekend. I paid an outragous amount too get 2-day air delivery. It came 6 days later.
Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose......
