I had a leak behind the primary clutch also...felt gasket? Mine is rubber. You can feel/see it on the backside of your clutch. We just took the clutch cover off, removed the belt, removed the bolt for the clutch (I went to the store, and when I came back entire clutch was off) removed rubber seal. Cleaned everything real good, I used 3m marine grade adhesive, fast cure, put around the seal put the seal back in, reattached everything. I put a new gasket around the belt housing and sealed the belt housing also. I have no leak now.

I hope this helps some. Be careful to pay close attention the order you remove everything, mark the way everything is lined up before you remove so you can place back exactly like it was. Even on the seal.
