I was just at the Honda forum and there is a thread about 250 ex or 250TB and some of them really blast the Polaris. I don't have any problem with hondas but it sure seems to me that they sure a hard time with Polaris's. Maybe it's because all they see is my tail lights! Just kidding no need to get upset.

 

It really didnt seem like they were cracking on polaris but just the TB. I can admit that the TB in stock form is probably the slowest 250 on the market. But what they dont know is how easy it is to mod and make it the quickest 250 on the market. You cant make a honda250 quick. Just not possable.

 

what pipes and mods are great for tb.

 

Most Hona owners put down Polaris because they think Hondas are the most "Reliable", but in my experience I would never buy another honda. I have less problems with a fully modified TB engine than I have had with my stock 400EX engine.

HPD trail pipe and agressive clutch kit really kicks a$$. Or just save up for the $1500 race mod. There wont be much that can catch it.

 

I drove a Polaris for the first time last month. It was a good machine. I would have no problems buying one.

How do you like the Preditor? I have a Suzuki Z400 and don't like it do to the extreme torkiness and having to deal with the clutch. I am definately looking at new quads and was not going to consider Preditor because I have heard Polaris's spend a lot of time in the shop. Whats your experience? Does it handle well? Pulls wheelies and such?

 

Ive never had a problem with the quad yet! It handles realy well but it dosent pull whellies that great. My experiance level is in the middle Im not a pro and im deffenetly not a beginer!

 

I find a lot of the bashing only happens when people are hiding behind a computer screen. When you get out on the trails, very few people seriously bash another riders machine. There is some fun joking around, but nothing serious.

I have a TB 250 for my wife. Not once has anyone said anything to me about it in a negative way on the trails. It has actually been one of the most reliable quads I have ever owned.
