Under the polaris web site, it says that the predator is aged for kids 6 and above. So why is it that these dealers are having a problem selling it to people with kids your age. There web site says one thing and the sticker on the ATV says another. You would think that they would change them to match.

I found this on thh Scrambler 50 page:
WARNING! Polaris ATVs with engine sizes larger than 90 cc may not be ridden by anyone under 16 years of age. ATVs with 89 cc engines may not be ridden by anyone under 12 years of age. ATVs with 49 cc engines may not be driven by anyone under 6 years of age. All riders under 16 should only ride with adult supervision. All riders should take a safety course. For safety and training information, see your dealer or call Polaris at 1-800-342-3764. ATVs can be hazardous to operate. For your safety, always wear a helmet, eye protection and protective clothing. Never ride on public roads, always avoid paved surfaces. Never carry passengers. Never engage in stunt driving. Riding and alcohol/drugs don’t mix. Avoid excessive speeds. Be particularly careful on difficult terrain. Remember, ATV riding is more fun when you play by the rules.
So, guess they overlooked that on the Predator page. In thinking about it a little more, might be better to stick with the 50 since my kids are 6 and 8. No need for them to grow up too fast; better to let them learn proper driving technicques on an underpowered machine than give them something they might eb ilprepared for.
Thanks for the kudos on the sites. Labors of love. lol. Well, just a combination of my hobbies: cars, photography and websites.
