predator swing arm

Tell ya what boys... if you put a little pressure on him, I think that Keith at Motoquad would look into doing Predator swingarms. I love the one for my Raptor!! It's a plus 3 Chromoly with a round carrier.
Drop him a line at
www.motoquadchassiscomponents.com
He's got a contact link on there and is more than willing to look into new parts.

That's a great source Widow, but there are already a few chromoly units coming out.....does he have the capabilities of an aluminum foundry? Now that would be a nifty winter time polishing project.

Unfortunately no. I don't know if I would be that thrilled to have a cast aluminum swingarm anyway. Yeah it would be cool to polish out but it's going to weigh just as much as chromoly by the time you get the strength out of it... (aluminum may be lighter but you have to use more of it to have the same strength) and along with the extra material comes extra bulk.
I don't have any doubts about my swingarm or a-arms and I think that's the most important thing... being able to rely on and trust your parts. Just because something is cheaper doesn't always mean a better deal.

Well aware of the "double" rule when working with a component constructed out of aluminum......um, with the titanium content of my two quads.....that price shopping isn't really an issue, where did that come from?
