Cracked Frame #2

Actually Yamaha's price is pretty reasonable, but the track history of not warranting the bad 2001 Raptor trannies is what would make me nervous. Polaris has stood behind almost every warranty burp I've heard of so far.

Modquad is right. Everything from the small recall of the first pred's out with just a little thing as improper tourqe on a brake caliper, to the 02 sp700 waterpump issue, the Xpedition bolt in the tranny, and others in the sled side that I can't remember, cause sleds are hard on my back, but that's cause mine is ancient...I need an X chassis Polaris is very good and fair to their customers. Some dealers may be cheap, but if you can go over their head or find an honest dealer, polaris will ultimately treat you with a nice slice of pie!

Im sorry to those that have broken the frame. I encourage all others to check yours asap. I have hit 2 trees and flipped my pred, and do some extreme trail riding. So far my frame is holding up. Perhaps its just some freak accidents. But please, if you notice your frame cracked, go to your dealer immidiately and report it. It will help all of us in the future.

Ruckus and aussie,
You can chalk up another broken frame. It was completely broke on one side and 1/2-3/4 of the way around the other side. In the same place you are talking about. In front of the cross brace.
The machine wasn't mine, it was a customers. We have allready replaced it. Polaris was happy to replace it once they had some pictures of the breakage.
My customer races it GNCC. Not MX. From what I gather about the kid and have seen for myself is that he doesn't like to get air bourne very often. When he does, its never taller than he is standing up. None the less, GNCC is pretty hard on them too. He's a pretty good rider.
