I just recently replaced my cv boot on my 01 scrambler 500 4x4, in doing this i had to take out all the bearings and take off the strut and the whole 9 yards. After doing this i filled it with hub oil took it for a little ride, didn't notice any problems. Then parked it in the garage and came back a lil while later and there was a pool of hub oil on the ground. Any suggestions to as what i may have done wrong. Ant help would be greatly appreciated.

I had both seals go bad on me too after I replaced my cv joints. They are only about 5 bucks a piece. You have to remove the hub, and remove the brake disc. Then apply some heat to the seal until it becomes to hot to touch. Then pry it off being carefull to to scratch the hub. Make sure you clean the hub out really good. Install the seal with the spring side facing up. Then put some blue locktite on the rotor bolts and torque them to 18ft/lbs. It says not to reuse the old bolts but I have and haven't had any trouble. Hope this helps.
