Is there any way to overide the electronic throttle control switch? I have adjusted the throttle cable both ways and either way the throttle wants to come back and hit the safety switch causing it to not idle. Thanks.

Word of caution, don't override the ETC. You might have to do some throttle cable adjustments elsewhere, but don't override it! You never know when it could happen, but, be safe!
