What kinda riding are you gonna do? If its trail riding then get the Trailblazer. If its jumping and that stuff, get the z250.

I think the new bruin is going to be an awesome quad. I think that is what I would buy for the wife. It looks like a grizzly. I am a polaris man but I think the polaris quads needs more modern plastic. I don't think the sportsmans plastic changed hardly at all. I went and looked and them and they really don't look much different. We will have to see how the bruin does in the magazines.

By the way I have a 2002 scrambler and I love it. I see in the current issue of ATV mag somebody wrote in and asked how fast the grizzly went and asked if a scrambler would out run it. They said the grizzly went like 49 miles and hour or something like that and they doubted that the scrambler could go that fast. LOL. I bet the scrambler is just as fast as a Kawi 650 P.

do you plan on leaving it stock and is this is your first quad, get the trailblazer. once you get familiar with it, then you can add the mods and get more power and speed. the tblazer has the capability of growing with you so you wont wish you had gotten a bigger quad. its kinda like the chinese food thing, an hour later and youll wish you had more

I haven't seen the Bruin, but I did talk to the local Yamaha dealer,he said it would be a lot like a scaled down Grizzly, with belt drive, but I don't know if it will be independent rear suspension. The motor is supposed to be a totally different one than previously used in the quads, not just a revamped Warrior or Big Bear motor, but one designed for ATV application. He didn't have any specs on it, even Dirt Wheels didn't list it in the latest issue, they showed all the 2004 Yamahas, including the new yfz450 sport, but didn't show the Bruin, which I find a little odd, why leave out one of the newest ones out?

Looks great, belt auto, 2X4 / 4X4 selectable, $5000, should be a nice little quad. Way underpowered with its 350 air cooled motor, but good value.
