Look Kiwi....who says that the new 450 Yamafail is a better bike. The dyno... The thing everyone loves but disagress on, you will get different numbers on every dyno and there is no question to it. I think what needs to be done is, on every graph it needs to say what the elevation, air quality, and tempature is, then we might be able to get a descent enough average.

Along with: Tire type, tire size, sprockets, chain tension, any other mods to the bike etc. etc.

 

I live right by the lake across from body beach if you know where that is.. But im only 17 and not down with the underage drinking BS that all of the kids here do. I really havent been out of the lake on a weekend but maybe sometime in the near future. Try to hit the sandbar where the girls show their um a... ta ta's...

FMF beyond sucks!

 

In 300 feet the yammi 450 is faster than a predator,raptor,cannon and DS. A stock 450 should also be faster than those quads piped. Now that said it will come down to the rider and who ever wins it will not be by much. In stock form all those quads are withing a few feet of each other in 300 feet. It is yammifails turn in the spot light. If you can not afford to fix the quads when they break you should not own one. I would never send any of my quads to the dealer to be worked on, they are idiots for most part and do not care about your toy. Buy a quad and a repair manual and forget the dealer.

It is great to have all the choices we now have. 6 years ago it was a banshee, warrior, 300ex, lakota. You had little choices- 33 hp banshee or 18 or less HP 4 strokes. Ride them and be happy.

I am not getting rid of my raptor but i do believe the 450 is going to be a great quad.
