the predator is the only real sport machine they've attempted to build, and granted it is a great first effort, now they need to build on it and go even more high tech,. they've always been a business to sit on thier laurels and say well thats good enough for now.
i like companies that are always on the front of cutting edge technology and like to put it in thier machines and pass it on to the customers that make their company possible.

Ok Now you have really opened you mouth and said something stupid......What in the blue hell have you been smoking???? The Predator has more frame and steering technology than any quad since the 250R!! Don't get me wrong, the 250 R frame will always be the measuring stick for race ready quads but Polaris finally stepped up and improved upon the technology instead of simply copying it.......take your head out of you *** and look at the innovations that Polaris has done as a company!!! Rest on their laurels......your ignorance is only surpassed by your stupidity....hey genius...once they release the 440 kit more MXer's will be riding the Pred and you'll not need to look very far......yes the YFZ has a lot of nice features in the motor but the bottom line is it's still a Yamafail that looks like a JR Craptor and will be the red headed step child after Honda starts selling their 450..........their is no way in hell the YFZ handles better than the Pred and by the way....I don't believe you have ever owned a Predator.....doubt that you've ever ridden one ....wish you lived closer so I could shut you up myself........now get back to the Yamaha forum where nobody is talking about these over price over hyped Craptor look alikes!!!!

LUGNUT,
OHIO is not there far away, name a place and time and i'll be happy to show up and wax you and your predator any day of the week.do you have a mx track near by where we can line up and see who's who?
and i'll be happy to tell you that the "new" polaris steering geometry is not new. doug roll designed that very same setup back in the 80's.it was better known as a bump steer kit. polaris just modernized it to work with thier new frame. big deal.
and from what i know you don't need to have 440 cc's to race at the local level. you can run pretty much whatever cc you want unless you're at a national event.
the predator has not and will not ever be a competitive race machine.
and i can appreciate you backing your company and being brand loyal. but the name calling and insults are uncalled for. i never insulted anyone ain any of my posts, i simply stated my opinions, with facts.
polaris's predtaor has nothing new or innovative about any of thier machines. there is nothing technical about thier frame or steering, or engine development.all of it has been around for years before they used it in their quad.
and i never even said one time that the predator is a bad machine, i've stated along along that the predator in fact is an excellent machine, it's just not on par with the yamaha.
you can take my opinoin for what it is worth.
i'm beginning to think this is the worst forum i've ever been on. the only thing that is ever discussed or argued is who is better or faster. there's never any intelligent discussion, or anyone that makes an intelligent arguement about anything. it's always my quad is faster then your quad.
some people need to grow up, and get rid of your infuriority complex.

Ridley, I told you to come down to Alabama for some good ole drag racing. I will be glad to hand you your a$$ and send you back up north. I have seen several YFZ's line up with other ATV's and get there feelings hurt, because they read on the forums how much faster they was. When you are serious about lining up with a Pred, let me know. Ball is in your court now.
