works shocks for my scrambler
#2
I had them on my '99 Sport. Worked good and are adjustable for stiffness by adding more nitrogen to them. Also they are rebuildable so you never buy another strut. I have a pair of front struts I took off my Sport before i sold it if you're interested. They are scuffed on the sides from the springs I was using but it's only cosmetic. I just rebuilt them ( new oil and recharge ). They sell for $229 a pair. I''ll sell mine for $170 shipped. The stock Polaris struts are selling for $100 Each.

those are what i am looking at already bbs but thanks for posting it..do you know what they retail for and how they work?the guy says they are for 96 and newer,is that true?

It says that they are for the long travels scramblers. Thoses are 2000 and newer. But you can probably change the older ones to long travel with the shocks and springs. Here is Works website. The fronts are about $240 and the rear can range between $470-$710 depending on what he has into the shock.

98 is when Polairs went to the longer front suspension in the 8.2" to 8.5" range. Prior to that it was like 6.25". I have the Works struts on my 98 & they are a HUGE improvement. I had PEP re-work my rear shock another HUGE improvement. I jump a lot so I use the heavy duty front strut springs w/ 50psi air. By the way these struts are air adjustable from like 20psi up to 50psi. They come w/ like 30psi in them. It's like riding on a cloud.
