I was out riding once and saw a dead body laying face down in the fine silt along Smokes Creek. I rode around it a few times and reved up my engine right next to it but it didn't budge.

So I went and got the cops and brought them back.
The cop took one look, kicked it and says " Hey buddy, wake up!" The "dead" body looks up and says
"Yeh, what'd ya want" Turns out he was only dead drunk! The cop thanked me for calling anyway because he did look "dead".

Any other long strange ride stories? They did end up finding this guy dead for real in the creek about 6 months later.

 

That was me.... I'm not dead.
But one time I was riding along the railroad tracks one summer morning and just looked over about 10 ft from me and saw the body of a recently killed deer....with no head! The body was perfect, but no head. I don't know if it was a "dirty" hunter ot the train got it somehow. Kinda weird though.

 

Andy , he was dead . Aftermarket pipes , I have heard , when they aren't packed regularly wake the dead . :-)

 

Must of wanted it's head for his wall,what a wast.
