beadlocks ?

Default beadlocks ?

wow yall its 1:12 in the AM. i was just wondering, what is the point of beadlock rims. i mean are they anybetter than traditional rims. aiight den -PEACE-[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Default beadlocks ?

I didn't know they had them for ATV's....I know for Jeeps they help when they go off roading...they have their tire pressure down pretty low, so it's easy for the tires to come off if they are going through some rough terrain...I assume they work the same way for ATV, so depends on what kind of riding you do. If you do some rough, rocky terrain and you've had problem w/ tires coming off they would be useful.

Default beadlocks ?

They would be a good idea for MX racing because it would be easy for a tire to come off the bead with all the jumping and powersliding. They basically sandwich the bead in between the rim. They also help to reinforce the rim and make it stronger

Default beadlocks ?

beadlocks are good for mud or rockclimbing because u can get realy lo air preasure for a wider footprint
