Will any of you purchase a Rubicon Yes or NO and why.

1. For me NO. Its a money thing I really wanted a Sportsman and had to wait until I found a nice used one. Seems the guy traded it in for a Jet Ski his loss my gain.
2. I like all quads but just like when I was growing up some of you Honda riders chaffe my a$$ if you know what I mean. And I guess since my dad never liked Hondas I just cant see my self on one.
Which I guess is how most people are they like what they grew up on.
Back to the point until chicken farming makes me rich I aint paying 7000.00 dollars for a quad not even a mighty Sportsman.

I would have to say "not". I just don't link that transmission is worth $7,000. For a lot less, I could get a new Magnum 500 with a better ride and more features. But hey,the magnum would have a few grease zerks and maybe thats worth the price difference for the Rubicon, but not to me. It would be interesting to see how many Rancher owners will trade up (or down however you look at it) to the Rubicon. I can't imagine that many will, but I might be suprised. They already have a solid machine, but some people just like having the latest thing.

I think the Ruby would be good except for not being switchable 4wd and not true 4wd. I would also wait to purchase to make sure they got the bugs out first.

I would hate to buy the Rubicon for $1000-$500 more than any other 500cc utility and see it not come in first in a shootout.

It's good to see that all of you polaris dinks are still worried about the rubicon.Even if the Rubicon did beat out the polaris in a shootout, you guys would still cry that polaris is the best.

No, as a former Honda rider I know from experience that they don't make anything even close to Polaris. If I want a slow ride with drum brakes I'll go ride my old Gravely. 2 stroke power, and real 4 wheel drive are only found on a Polaris.

And sledder, if you're so smart why do you waste your time to come here and hang out with all us dinks? You must have that P-envy thing going on.
Go see a shrink because those kind of emotions
can wreck your health! Either that or you been tuning your ride with it running in a closed garage. Better see a doc anyway 'cause you're several lobes short of a full brain.

Sledder, just when I thought you were on vacation from you life mission of bashing Polaris (its a company, you should capitalize the first letter), you reappear out of nowhere to get another bash in. No one was holding their Polaris quads up on a pedestal, just commenting if they would fork out $7,000 for a Rubicon. As for the dink comment, if you are so smart, why don't you define "dink".

I will have to agree. The price of quads is getting expensive. I spent a wad of cash this year on quads, so I will wait a couple of years before purchasing the next.

I know Honda makes good machines, but I would want to read several reviews before buying any manufacturers $7,000 quad.

I don't think sledder has your answer, but I do. DINK - Double Income No Kids. I consider it a compliment.
As far as the Ruby. I think I'd like to ride one (or just see one) before I made a decision.
