I just bougth them for my Scrambler 500 with Douglas .190 alum rims. I am taking them mudding/ rock quarry on Sunday. I know is not a TB, but the tries have gotten great reviews!
As fo rhte stock question, I reccommend staying stock diameter for the lfe of the suspension, steering, etc. Going wider is really a matter of engine size and your personal strentgh and stamina as they will require more force to turn.
Going to the mud lites (with alum rims) from the 489's (with steel rims), the mudlites are sligthly lighter.
I will let you know how mine do!

Sorry for the delay. We didn't make it to the rock quarry, but I went riding on some farm fields, rock roads, dirt hills, etc. The mud lites are awesome. I definately suggest them.

I got them at Rock Moutnain, but you wil have to call them. They do not have all their tire packages online yet.
I ordered stock sizes for several reasons;
1. My old set would be direct swap outs in the event of a tire/ rim failure on the trail.
2. Keep suspension geometry original.
3. Keep drivetrain ratios stock.
The 6 ply are definitely great. Much stiffer. Traction is awesome on anything rough and even on 'hardball', they perform very well.
I got it all shipped to Chicago with a K&N and Outerwear for about $420.
USMC, USN -> AS long as all the rounds are going down range!
