Heres a lame question seeing I am not the best mechanic in the world. Can I add just a pipe to my Xplorer and leave the old silencer? Does a pipe help the whole power band?? Will I still get the claimed 10 H.P. increase without a new silencer? Does the pipe sound any different? Noisier? I want the power not the noise!

Thanks.

I've been thinking the same thing. Only one problem, the pipe on a Xplorer is one piece! I've done some looking and havn't found a pipe at all that is made for just the Xplorer they are adaptions of Scrambler pipes. The Scrambler has a seperate silencer but it's not cheap. HPD or Hotseat does make a pipe for it though that makes good power and isn't to loud.
