SP600 oil plug

SP600 oil plug
I know this sounds stupid, but is the oil plug (drain) a round an allen head bolt on a 2003 SP600? I got ready to change the oil and all I saw was a round "bolt" that takes an allen wrench. I was afraid to take it out in case it drains something besides engine oil (going riding tomorrow!) Can anyone straighten me out here? THANKS
