NOT all home owners will COVER atv's . I know I just bought a 2000 Sportsman 500 and my agent is with state farm ins., he said that if it COULD be titled that it had to have a seperate policy. I pay $235 a yr. that full coverage $6800 plus $1500 in acessories thats with POLARIS PRO FAMILY INS.

I pay about $65 per year full coverage for my '98
Scrambler 400. My '93 Sportsman 350 is covered under it's own policy for $16. But that's only for
liability, my homeowners covers theft because I use it for snow plowing.
I learned this the hard way when my cherry '85 350X was stolen they wouldn't pay. They told me
I neglected to buy theft coverage. But they
were the ones who gave me the wrong coverage. A
motor vehicle must have it's own theft policy
unless it's used for work around your property.
Nationwide gave me a good lesson, the agent doesn't work for you, they work for the insurance
company. So always beware when dealing with an agent, they don't have your welfare in mind, their
first priorty is the company.
