Default Scrambler 500 H.O. engines?

What is the first year that the scrambler 500 had the H.O. Engine? Please answere

Default Scrambler 500 H.O. engines?

98 was the first year for the 500 H.O. They also introduced the concentric drive. The 97 was a DOG and the 400 scram could easily beat it. Thats when Polaris introduced the 500 H.O and then 500 scram was slightly faster than the 400, in stock form

Default Scrambler 500 H.O. engines?

97 was a bit slow.But i put a Aaen slipon pipe and K&N filter on my 97 and can stay side by side with my friends 98 sport.Have to remember the 97 was geared alot lower than the 98 or newers too.I know I know carb,cam too.lol

yea, same here, i have a 97 with a suppertrapp exhaust and dg silencer plus a k&n air filter and i keep up fine with my friends sportsman 600 twin and scrambler h.o.(wich only has an hpd silencer) 97's rule....lol[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
