Default Price quote on a scrambler

hello i have a 1995 4x4 on demand scrambler 400 2-stroke, i'm looking into maybe trading for a 700 sportmans, i price a 03' sportmans 700 new for 6600 , and i wanna know what my bike is worth it has prolly 100 hours of riding time on it factory tires with 60% tread, its in mint condion, i'm either keeping it and puting a dg pipe on it and itp mudlite, and skid guards, or trade for the big bad 700. so it would really help me out if someone would lead me in some kinda way what my bike is worth. thanks

dont trade it for the sportsman unless your using it for work. and if you do keep the 400 dont put a dg pipe on it because the dg pipes are terrible!!

the scrambler will do a good job but nothings invinsible both of them would get stuck. the scrambler would do fine becasue what you do is you go in in 2 come out in 4 thats my modo for four wheel drive machines. and get a pipe from either hpd or hsp i would say go with hsp because you will get 10hp increase with their pipe and if your looking for more low end which you will need for muddin get a hsp clutch kit to match the pipe.

95 SCRAMBLER 4X4
Low Retail$1,285
Average Retail$1,690
High Retail$1,795

Good luck, The value is really dependent of what they go for in your area, supply and demand.
I personally would not coincide any polaris 4x4 prior to 1998 due to there somewhat problematic chain drive front 4x4 system, Not to mention the lack of rear concentric drive.

As for a pipe for you machine, as the others said avoid companies like FMF and DG on you Polaris.
The 4 main companies to go to for polaris performance is HSP-Hot Seat Performance, HPD High Performance Design, RCR-Ritter Cycle Racing , AAEN performance. These companies have did there homework and know what works best. Also keep in mind when ever you add power to a CVT polaris the Clutching MUST be changed so that you actually put the added performance to the ground. With out proper clutching it is actually possible to make things worse.
