I am trying to find a cylinder for a 1998 Scrambler w/ std. bore. Anyone got any ideas? New is not a problem, just $400.00 so I am looking for a good used one.
also, what is a good pipe for this bike?

Thanks,

i dont know where you can find a cylinder but a good pipe is hot seat or hpd and the hotseat pipe makes 10hp, but im not sure about the hpd one.

I have a FMF on it now, I can't remember what model, but I have a lot of top end but no low end power. Not sure if I just need to put a clutch kit in it or what. I actually took the weights out and wellded some more weight to them and it helped on low end but I need more. It woundn't bring the front tires off the ground on take off but now it will with the added weight. about 6" but I would like to get enough power to throw me off. any suggestions?

Give Rick Ritter at RCR a call. I am sure with all the mods he does he is sure to have something sitting around the shop

Im sorry, I forgot you were new Rick is the owner of RCR (Ritter Cycle Racing). Here is his website. When you call, you will most likely talk to Rick himself. He's a great guy to work with

While you are at it. Rick has a stage 1 kit that is $325 with FREE shipping. It includes pipe and silencer of your choice, clutching mods, carb jets, and a high flow air filter with air box mod. Its the best bang for your buck. You will not see the best gains out of just a pipe unles you match the clutching to the new powerband, this is especially true on 2 strokes. Ricks kit is made to work together and made for your riding style
