SCRAMBLER 500 TOP SPEED WITH MODS
#1
I WAS JUST WONDERING HOW FAST COULD A SCRAMBLER 5004X4 GO. I KNOW THAT WILL GO ABOUT 60-65 STOCK. WILL I GAIN MORE SPEED WITH HPD PIPE AND CLUTCH KIT? I HAVE A K&N ON THEIR NOW AND WHAT MODS WILL MAKE IT GO FASTER AND PULL GOOD WHEELIES.
REALY WANT TO SMOKE SOME JAP QUADS!!

You may gain a few MPH's with the pipe and clutch kit. I haven't really had a chance to top it out with all the mods on my now accurate trailtech speedo. BUT! you will get there a LOT faster,

My friend has a 2000 500 with full DG big o xcellerator pipe, porting, cam, hi comp piston, and clutch kit. With 22" tires he ran right behind my truck at 75. Now you have to factor in that it may have been having that speed vacuum effect, and my trucks speed-o-meter's accuracy, but that is still pretty fast.

That is about the only other way to make the scrams have more top end. And thats playing around with the engine (ie cam, piston, porting) But all that costs some more $
