WHICH CLUTCH SPRING?????
hey rick i am currently running a red/yellow main 10-58 weights violet secondary in 2-2 holes and 40-36 split helix. I am having trouble with it on top end not too good of top spees and not holding high revs on long hills. I was told to put my 55 gram weights back in and put my secondary in the 1-1 position. do you agree with this? any help would be appreciated

WHICH CLUTCH SPRING?????
I was having a problem a while back with my TB not revving high going up hills and found out that the weights were to heavy. I was using the 58grm weights with the hpd red/yellow spring primary-gold secondary set on 2-1 setting.. I never had high rpm's like hpd claims. I then just for ***** and giggles put in my stock spring with stock weights and kept the hpd gold secondary spring and it revs like crazy and pulls hard all the way. It climbs like crazy. The only problem that I have now is I cant come to a hill and just hit the throttle from a dead stop and go. It will just bog and not want to rev. It happens more when it is hot. If I get a rolling start it revs fine. Still cant figure it out. I dont know if it is in the carb or not.

WHICH CLUTCH SPRING?????
Every combo and engine setup can be different. When I first talked to him I didnt realize he didnt have a clutch kit. Mike, you need a clutch kit or at least the 2 springs that will match your HSP pipe to get all that power to the ground. You would be amazed at what that little change could do for you. Call HSP,tell them your on a budget and need the 2 springs to match their pipe. Putting them on is pretty easy and we can walk you through. If you can tell me where that pipe runs at for RPM on top end I can help you out there too. Bubba
