500 scrambler question
#1
A friend wants me to mod his scrambler and i agreed. I've never owned a polaris so i need some help here.
It seems to me that logic dictates that a pipe, some rejetting, and a clutch kit would be the way to go for his budget.
If i am correct in assuming this whats the best pipe for it?
What would you recomend for a baseline main jet for the pipe? (elevation 900ft).
and what clutch kit is the best?
What settings for that clutch kit?
Thanks guys

If your interested in a hot seat performance kit for it, i have a used one that i just took off one of my 02 500 scramblers becuase i'm trading it in. Kit has about 75 miles on it. You can see the kit on hot seats webset. www.hotseatperformance.com, i think it retails for $550.00. I can email a picture of it to you if you want. I was happy with the kit, seemed to perform just as wells as some of the other kits(hpd, supertrapp) from guys that had different ones in my riding group. It has everything in the kit with the exception of the k&n filter. Probably looking at $300.00 plus shipping.
