Default automotive struts

Has anyone ever attempted to use an automotive strut cartridge in a Polaris? Is it something that can be done for a heavy duty application?

uh...i think that they auto strut would be wayyyyy to hard. youd feel every single bump. now if you were plowin only with the thing, it may not be such a bad idea. youd probably need to mount the strut to the lower a-arm and get a custom brake caliper, hubs, etc...you may need diferent a-arms also.
