Default help on 2004 scrambler in mud

for those who have scrammys i need to know how good they are in mud and water. I will be going through water around floorboard deep. Also will the 4x4 help alot when the axle starts rubbing in mud.
I want a sportsman but can't afford one so the scrambler is the only atv with 4x4 that I would want. so please help if you can. thanks.

You'll have no problem in the water. The scramblers 4x4 does great in the mud. Its sounds like the machine you need.

Also on the 2004 scrammys spec sheet they say that they have speedometer as an accessory. does that mean a stock accessory or what.

well, im not sure about the scrambler but on my dads sportsman he is usually in the mud in high range, so i guess you should be fine. He goes in deep deep mud too. and i think you have to buy the speedometer. i dont think it comes with one.

Trust me, Scrammys have no problems in mud.....the only drawback to them is the low ground clearance because of the swingarm.....I ride with an SP500, Grizzly and Kodiak.....I always end up in the same place as they do....I might skip some mud but not much!

The great thing about a 4x4 is if you get hung up going forward......just slap it in reverse and hit the override button and HANG ON!!!!! That pig comes unstuck in a hurry!

You just have to know when not to go diving in......it's not about getting stuck it's about getting water in places it shouldn't be.....those other rides have higher snorkels than my scrammy.
