Default Beadlocks, necessary?

I've got to get some new wheels before long and am debating on which ones....

From what I've gathered I'm going to go with Douglas.....

Now my choices are.... Douglas .190 aluminums, Douglas Ultimate, Douglas Ultimate Beadlock

I'm not 100% sure on the "ultimate" differences...

Are beadlocks worth the expense when I don't race? I ride some rough, rocky, rooty trails but is that reason enough to spend the extra money for the beadlocks?.....and it's a pretty decent amount by the way.....

I'm all for being prepared and "an ounce of prevention" but I also have to manage my funds....

Hey Rook you dont need them. They would be nice to have but can spend the money on other parts Are you gettin rid of those Titans?

I probably won't get rid of them unless you know someone who might want to buy them Actually they are Carlisle 489's (cheaper Titans) I think they are only 2 ply too Might just have to save them for emergencies.....

Yeah, I figure the money I save on the beadlocks could be put towards a clutch kit and silencer I figure I can spend about $1000 and be good to go on it for a little while at least!

I also know someone who was trying to get rid of their 400 Scrammy......I think that's what it is....I'll try to get some details on it....
