I beet this is a SCAM too!!

 

remember - if it seems to good to be true, it is. I've seen many of these scams. check out atvtraderonline. It's loaded with them. I once almost bid on an auction for a pair of double-bass drum pedals. They were like $100 brand new, but retail for almost $500. The guy was from Turkey and refused to ship via DHL with a tracking number, only using Turkey's postal service. He had a high rating on eBay, but there was a suspicious pattern to the comments and people who made the comments. Convinced he was a crook at that point, I sent his info to eBay, Axis (who makes the pedals), and a law enforcement agency. I was told that nothing could be done unless he actually followed through and ripped me or someone else off. He probably bought it with a stolen credit card, but I couldn't prove anything.

Jus Beware, Scammers have a way of Stealing another user's Name!!
So They steal someones name & Use it to Fake a Sale, So you send the money & never Receive the product. There was a whole article on how they would get your user name on here & use it.
Just Beware, Like others said, If it's too good to be true, It usally is!

 

I checked on shipping one time from Fed Ex to ship an atv from Italy within 5 days like the ad says and it was going to cost $4,800.00. That was more than he was asking and he was going to pay the freight. Everyone I've seen from overseas has been pics of atv's that has already been on Ebay. Watch out.

You will lose your money SO fast it's not funny. SCAM city! Like someone else said, why would any one sell a NEW atv for half its price???? They wouldn't, they want your money.

 

Everyone is right. ITS a SCAM!!! please dont do it. I just bought a quad off ebay and I found MANY MANY scams before I found anything worth buying. For contrast, I bought a 2000 kodiak with new engine, and new vamps shipping and all for 3650 and thought I did ok. All these new quads for super low prices are to good to be true and you WILL GET BURNED. Ebay will not help you either. Other peoples experiences show this. Neither will banks.

 

I dont think that that cannondale is a scam. Thes scammers only accept a wire transfer and ship the quad from overseas. Plus they are all at a super low "but it now". That cannondale doesn't have a "but it now" and they will deliver it. It looks legit

 

It's only money - your gamble. If you are willing to lose over $3k at the very small chance you might get an ATV, go for it. I would rather spend $5k for one with 400 miles and KNOW that it will be in my garage when I give him the money. And there is NO recourse if they take your money.

 

To me it's more than just money. It's the principle. They're thiefs and I refuse to support them. They will get NOTHING from me except jailtime whenever possible. I'd rather pay twice the price to an honest man than half to a thief. The ends do not justify the means.
