I have the HPD trail pipe on my Scrambler. It fits and looks just as good as the stock pipe. You do have to trim the black plastic heat shield that runs along the right side of the seat, but all the trimming is done on the back and you can't see it when it's put back together. The directions tell you where and how to trim.

YES the HPD,HOT Seat, and aaen trail pipes are about the same.Ive seen them before and I have had the hot seat and hpd trail pipes. All of those pipes take up much room near the motor. these pipes also melt the plastics and burn your leg.
I'm not sure what you can do if you aren't looking for a higher RPM range But, if you are looking to Pump up your bike more I would go with a race pipe From CPI or HPD.
THe hpd Pipe is ok but it does crack and I didn't like the seal it made on the motor.SO, I have a CPI pipe .
