Default Anyone add an aftermarket carb to their 700?

I will be adding a "Heelclicker" clutch kit to my wife's 02 SP700 this weekend. After that i plan to add a full pipe and was looking into an aftermarket carb. I just happen to have a 42mm CV carb off my DS650(i actually have two!) and was wondering if it would work? I looked at Aaen's site and they list a 38mm flatslide and a 42mm flatslide for the 700. I know large flatslides loose a little response down low but flow like the dickens up top. I would think a large CV carb would work great, kinda a good compromise between the two. Any thoughts?

Has anyone modded their SP700? What did you do, and how does it compare to stk? How does it compare to others?
