Predator rear sproket-BEST!
#2
A lot of us have had good luck with buying the 38 tooth steel sprocket from Polaris, for the rear. Match that up with the 13 tooth, sprocket specialties, steel sprocket for the front. This gearing does take loose quite a bit off top end, but for all around ripping, and especially woods riding, it works great.

I have the 39 rear. Modquad, do you recommend the 13 Front for that as well? I'm pretty heavy so that's one of the reasons I went with the 39. It really rips, please let me know what you think. Thanks.

13/39 would be really low gearing!!! With the 13/38, it's already to the point where you hit rev limiter in 5th with 3/4 throttle. Graffer, if you don't have one already, I would highly recommend a slip-on silencer...it will produce a lot more tourqe on the bottom, and then your 14/39 gearing will feel perfect! I had 13/38 for woods racing, but didn't like the loss of top-end. Bought a slip-on, and went back to 14/38, and I have even more tourqe now than I did with the lower gearing, plus I still keep almost stock top end!!

I have 13, 14,15 front and 36,37,40 rear
I'm running 15-36 right now riding in my sand pit I can just keep it pinned in second the whole time and never shift. My buddies on there Banshee and Raptor are shifting all the time just like I was when I was running 13-40 which sucks top speed but it great for 300feet.

Personally, I like the hi tool steel one from sidewinder. http://www.sidewindersprockets.com/products.htm
They are 40 bucks. They do have some that are more, whether you want one of those or not is up to you. I've gotten a lot of good mileage out of mine.
I run 13/38 on mine, but I don't think 13/39 is too low. At least not where I ride. It's very rocky and there are plenty of steep hills to climb. I rarely ever get a chance to open it up, so it would certainly depend on what your terrain is like.

I got my aluminum one from eSuperBike Shop. I weigh 260, and this thing rips! The front wheels come up 1st through 3rd. I love it. Where I ride I rarely see 4th gear, so I didn't notice a loss in top end but I do notice a he11 of a lot of bottom end. My bro in law used to work to wheelie my pred, the last time he tried he ended up on his ****. Beautiful sight.
