2004 Sportsman 700 Adding Fuel Gauge?

Can the 2004 1/2 Fuel gauge be added to the early 04 models? If so does anyone know how much $?

2004 Sportsman 700 Adding Fuel Gauge?

I have an early 2004 Sportsman 400. Asked my dealer about this. She called Polaris and they said they do not offer the upgrade. Would need a new gas tank and the speedo doesn't support the gauge. BUT, I read on one of these forums that someone checked their speedo pod and the gas guage was there. So, not sure if Polaris even knows the answer at this time.
