Does Anyone have this... Speed Kit for Scrambler 500?
#11
The only "bad" things about the Scrammy is that it is kinda piggy at 570lbs---it'll wear you out if you have to do a lot of rocking around in mud....but at times the weight comes in handy by holding it down over rough stuff when riding faster....
Another thing is that the chain needs to be tightened after just about every ride, a simple thing to do just a pain....and there's chain tensioners on the market that alleviate a large part of that.
Changing the spark plug is complete pain in the butt.....removal of all the body plastic and loosening the gas tank sucks!
And probably the last thing is the lack of pure hop-up modifications that can be done to it....there's not a lot of things on the market to change the performance.
I love mine and don't regret at all not getting a big ute or full sport.....it really is the best of both worlds!!
Before I bought mine I looked for some reviews of the Scrammy and they were few and far between....just do an internet search and you should find some info....and ask a lot of questions about anything.
