Default SnowPred: Realators,SpiderTrack,or what else?

I am going to buy some new tires for this winter riding. Any suggestions on what tires to buy? I am thinking of buying a wheel/tire combo from rockyMt.

I run the realters...i find they work pretty good..just dont ride with anyone behind you..or they'l be wiping snow off their face!

I looked into the maxis 4-snow..they seem to be hard to find, but work great! ALthough it depends on the trails..they're only 2-ply and they say to not use them if there are any rocks/roots or anything that could tear them. Even though we get alot of snow, the trails around here still have roots and such..so i think it owuld only be a matter of time before i tore em up. Might be a good tire for your type of trails. Also they only come in a 9" size, so your stock pred rims wont work..unless like you say, you get a wheel tire combo!

I have an old set of snowmobile skis here in the garage. anyone ever messed with trying to remove the front tires and mounting up snowmobile skis? I thought that by doing this, there would be less resistance, due to the fact that I am no longer trying to push snow with my front tires.
