Default Changing Front Sprocket

I have a TB 250 that I need to change the front sprocket on. How do you change the sprocket, is there any special tools needed??

Thanks

Default Changing Front Sprocket

Loosen the chain (this covers the later 98 and newer model concentric drive), remove the snap-ring holding the sprocket on, and slide it off. Lube the splines on the trans with anti-sieze, and install a new one in the reverse order. Hot Seat, and Sprocket Specialties sell some high quality aftermarket units.
