Default how do i adjust rear chain on 1995 425 magnum 4x4

I just got the bike not long ago , got a manual on order . I want to riding today & need to adjust rear chain . could someone please help .

Default how do i adjust rear chain on 1995 425 magnum 4x4

Loosen the bearing carrier bolts at the rear of the swing arm.
Take a punch stick it through the sprocket into the hole in the bearing carrier you will see it.
Roll the quad backwards until the chain is at the correct tension. Should have about 3/8" defection with you setting on it.
Torque the two bolts back to 45 ft lbs and your done.

Whoa... It is extremely important that you use a rope or strap to cinch the rear suspension down so the chain is at it's tightest tension. As the suspension lowers the chain tightens. You want the swing arm holding the rear axle to be horizontal with the ground. If you don't do this you may over tighten the chain..... catch some air and you may very well tear the drive sprocket out of the transmission. Iv'e heard of someone actually breaking off a chunk of the transmission casing...
