Oh Man... I HATE guys like that... Out at the local riding spot I keep running into this guy I have started calling "CLICKER".
This guy has a 98 Sportsman 500 with Vampires, he came up to the duck pond where I was riding water wheelies and was telling me how my water pump was going to fail, my transmission won't last, and those stupid looking PVC pipes weren't needed if I knew how to drive. And the tires I had would NEver be able to outdo his half worn out Vampires..
I mean, the guy was ENDLESS at running down other peoples machine!!.. I politely told him EXACTLY where to get off, and I rode away..
I ran into this GENIUS at the River Rat Mudrun...
This PUNKS Sportsman had those "stupid looking" PVC pipe snorkels (complete WITH radiator flex hose) Extended vent tubes, and come to find out.. THE EXACT SAME SETUP THAT I CAME UP WITH FOR THE COOLANT RECOVERY BOTTLE!!!!...
I WAS IMPRESSED!!.. Not only is he a genius, he was able to remember how I had mine set up long enuf to get home and do his!!!!
OH, the reason I call him clicker, his Sportsman sounds like the U-Joints havent been greased in a couple of years and were popping as he rode down the trails..( he doesn't ride in mud or water, it gets him DIRTY!!.. oohhh nnnooo!!!)
At the River Rat Run, he had his rear wheel off and the rear half-shaft out.. hahahhaa. I wonder why?

Aren't children supposed to be "seen and not heard"?
Didn't his father take him out to the truck and blister his posterior? I got a PROPER SOUTHERN UPBRINGING, and my father would not have let himself be embarrased by his unruly child like that.
What has the world come to? Are todays parents accepting this type of behavior? What kind of adult is this child going to grow into?

Jeez Thor, and I thought I was the only ATV expert you knew! Guess I’ve been replaced.

I’ve seen your “uncontrollable grin,” that had to be funny. I would have enjoyed Odin’s reaction too, I’m sure. Good story.

So you gonna be ridin’ an AC next time? (uncontrollable grin

U people are messed up...haha.Anyway,I am only 14 and i have been reading the magazines for a long time, but I don't do that,I have a 200X (highly modified)BUT...I DO NOT BELIEVE IN THAT KIDS ARE TO BE SEEN AND NOT TO BE HEARD!!Do u know why?because, for one my dad has brought me up that way,he lets me say my feelings,I also believe,if u treat kids this way(that not to be heard junk)all these feelings will build up and explode later on when he gets older and is aloud to talk. That is why all these kids are growing up the way they are, nobody listened to them when they were younger, now, the only way for somebody to notice them is if they are doing wrong,I say what i have to feel, whether you like it or not,and I am not trying to be a punk, but I think what you guys think about kids is wrong. How are you gonna change things and make them better if you don't let kids speak up?We are the future,we see all the things going wrong. So,you guys are telling me,whats the use, unless we're shooting no one notices the youth??I am sorry but I had to get that off of my chest.So,...HAVE FUN!!

Yes kids should be aloud to talk when they have somthing intelligent to say. When I was growing up you didnt speak until spoken too. I admire you for standing up for your self this is a quality you will need later in life from time to time.
But heed this advice and heed it well NEVER LET YOUR MOUTH OVERRIDE YOUR A$$. Its ok to defend your self but dont get in over your head.

Ryda
I am compelled to bless you with these two things that I have learned in the last thirty years.

1. You have two ears and one mouth. Listen twice as much as you speak.

2. There are few experts on any subject. When someone tries acting like they know everything about a subject, I usually realize that they know nothing. The point is, listen to what others have to say about a subject, then use it according to the validity that you place on that persons opinion.

Just my thoughts on the children speaking issue.
